Wordle Hints is a free Wordle solver and strategy library, run independently by a small team of puzzle players. We are not affiliated with The New York Times or the official Wordle game.
What we do
We built this site because the existing Wordle solver tools were either spammy, hard to use, or stuffed with so many ads they were unusable on mobile. We wanted a clean tool that respected our time, plus deep strategy guides written by people who actually play the puzzle daily.
How the solver works
Our solver runs entirely in your browser. We don't track your guesses, store your streak, or share data with anyone. The tool fetches the official Wordle answer list once when the page loads, then filters it locally based on the colored tiles you enter.
The tool is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network for fast load times. The strategy guides are served from a separate hosting provider. Both are static and load quickly anywhere in the world.
Why we don't show today's answer
Most people who visit Wordle solver sites are stuck mid-puzzle, not looking for spoilers. Our tool tells you what's possible based on what you've revealed; it doesn't peek at the day's answer. If you want today's answer outright, search for it; we won't help.
Editorial standards
Our strategy guides are written by humans who play Wordle regularly. We don't generate articles with AI and republish them. Every claim about letter frequency, optimal strategy, or trap words is based on analysis of the actual 2,309 Wordle answer list, not generic English word frequencies pulled from elsewhere.
If you find an error, please tell us. We update articles when the data changes.
Why we run ads
Ads pay the hosting bill and let us keep the site free. We try to keep them unobtrusive. If you'd rather not see ads, the official New York Times Wordle is included with their Games subscription and is also ad-free.
