This cookie policy explains what cookies Wordle Hints uses and how to manage them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. Cookies are used for many purposes: remembering preferences, measuring traffic, serving relevant ads, and so on.
What cookies we use
Essential cookies
None. The Wordle Hints site does not require any cookies to function. The solver runs in your browser without storing any cookies.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics to measure usage patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies that identify your browser anonymously (using a random ID, not your personal information) so that returning visits can be counted as the same browser. Cookie names typically start with _ga or _gid.
Advertising cookies
If we serve ads through Google AdSense, AdSense may set cookies to personalize ads based on your interests. Cookie names typically include __gads, IDE, or similar.
How to manage cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
You can also opt out of personalized ads at Google's Ad Settings.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not currently respond to DNT signals because there is no industry consensus on what compliance looks like. We minimize tracking in other ways, as described in our privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy occasionally. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent change.
